Hi! I’m Dr. Lee LeGrice, a passionate psychotherapist dedicated to enhancing emotional well-being and fostering healthy relationships. Prior to opening my private practice in 2012, I was in Executive Leadership in the Nonprofit industry for 20 years. I have had the privilege of supporting individuals of all ages through various life challenges. I’ve spent most of my life in Fort Worth, Texas but recently relocated to Denver, Colorado. I am licensed in and serve those who live in Texas, Colorado, Massachusetts and Wisconsin. If you want an in person session, come to Denver! Otherwise I will see you virtually.
I received my Master’s in Social Work from The University of Texas at Arlington in 1993 and completed my advanced clinical social work license in 1996. My academic journey culminated in a PhD in Social Work from UT Arlington in 2003. Throughout my career, I have worked in various settings, including Lena Pope Home, Inc., where I served children and families from 1993 to 2009. I also provided clinical supervision to licensed social workers from 1998 to 2020 and served as Executive Director of Mental Health America of Greater Tarrant County from 2009 to 2012. Additionally, I have taught as an adjunct professor at both UT Arlington and TCU, sharing my knowledge and experience with the next generation of social workers.
In 2012, I established my private practice in Fort Worth, Texas, where I focus on counseling and consulting. I was honored to be recognized as the 2013 Social Worker of the Year by the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) for my contributions to the profession. In 2018, I expanded my practice to include a second office in Denver, Colorado, allowing me to reach and support even more individuals seeking help. Recently I became licensed in Massachusetts and Wisconsin.
I am a Certified AEDP therapist with extensive training in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and interpersonal neurobiology. My approach to therapy is rooted in a deep understanding of the human experience and the relational dynamics that shape our lives. I believe that we are inherently wired for growth and healing and that therapy serves as a collaborative journey. Together, we will explore your experiences and emotions in a safe, supportive environment.
I am committed to helping you build meaningful connections—with yourself and others—through the therapeutic process. AEDP, developed by Dr. Diana Fosha, emphasizes the importance of overcoming feelings of isolation and nurturing our innate capacity for transformation. Similarly, EFT, grounded in decades of research, guides couples in creating secure and loving relationships.
I invite you to embark on this journey towards healing and connection with me. Together, we can cultivate resilience and enrich your relationships, leading to a more fulfilling and harmonious life.
